Maybe we can regain the respect and cooperation of other nations and not be so determined to "bring" democracy to everyone. Even the military and many Republicans agree that Iraq was a mistake and we need an exit strategy. Only then can we get other world leaders to the table to discuss how to deal with terrorism in the region and the world. We are also celebrating several local successes in the Kansas City region--re-election of Gov. Sebelius, a new Democratic senator from Missouri, the passge of the stem cell research issue, etc. You should be proud to be an American, Conor! Love, Mom Well said Conor!
